Consulting & Mentoring Services

We are very interested in helping small manufacturing companies succeed.  We believe that manufacturing is critical to our economic health as country and an important part of helping to keep good jobs in this country.  We would like to help as many companies as we can with the information we have acquired over the years we have spent in and around manufacturing companies.

• Many times companies need someone from the outside to offer some advise so the can get back on track or confirm that what they are doing is the correct action. An outside perspective can be important to help keep a company stay focused on the direction they wish to head.
• Often companies and their people can get pulled in many directions and lose focus on how their company should operate.  An outside perspective can be important to help a company see what is really important.
• Many companies do 80% of what they need to do however they still need something else to move themselves to the next level.  An outside perspective can be important to adding that missing piece that cannot be found within the company.

We offer our consulting services in a variety of ways.  Depending on the company’s situation and needs, the services offered can be a single visit or as an extensive project.  We will ask how much a company wants to participate and what type of resources the company would like to allocate to a solution.

• We can do simple remote evaluations via the phone or email.  Many situations can be explained on paper for a simple review.
• We can do an on-site evaluation and then work together in a remote manner on solutions and follow up.

• We can do extensive on-site visits and consultations.  We can develop internal workshops and solution driven game plans that involve detailed interaction.
• We can bring in other team members to help a company in a variety of areas.  Other areas such as sales and finance can be integral to decisions that are made on the manufacturing floor.

If there is a cost, it will depend on the situation and what kind of time is required.  Many times we do consulting services free of charge or with just the customer paying for our expenses.  Our goal is to help manufacturing companies so we are interested in minimizing our customer’s costs and maximizing our influences for success.

• The initial contact and situation review is no charge to our customers.  We do not charge to review a situation because we do not want to discourage companies that need help to contact us.  Pick up the phone or send us an email.  This is a no lose situation.
• Most responses to a situation will be presented in writing with no charge.  This response will include a proposal if we determine it is necessary.  Any additional costs will be proposed and accepted before any customer is set up for billing.  We want to provide as much free advise and consult as we can before we enter into an agreement to be paid any fees.
